Spicing up simplicity using color to add a summer touch. OOTD – A Walk on the Wild Side

Hello everyone! I hope all of you are well. I had the opportunity of visiting Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park during one of my outings with a good friend of mine. It was a smashing experience being surrounded by wonderful creatures such as alligators, different species of birds, and the elusive bison that we were lucky to spot! The sunny yet cool climate lent itself perfectly to pair my sun hat with the cape trench coat. I love the twist on the classic trench style with the billowing sleeves. It adds a surprising and unique element to the look whilst remaining comfortable to walk and observe the surroundings in.  I wore closed toe, chunky heeled boots for stability and protection while walking along the trails. A Special thank you to my friend Meghan for assisting me on the shoot. xoxo Until next time. Take care! Follow Miss Alice Beauty on: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | Bloglovin’

My Travel Bag – Favorite Jewelry

Hello everyone! I hope you are all lovely. If you have been keeping up with MAB’s social media, you’ll know that I am home now for the Thanksgiving holiday. I couldn’t be more thrilled to relax for a bit after a hectic couple of weeks. Today, I wanted to share some of my favorite jewelry that I find myself always packing when I travel! The classic designs have stood the test of time; non-trend based designs are best if you are seeking to invest in quality jewelry that can transcend changing fashions years from now. I can pair these two with virtually anything from a casual daytime look to an evening event. Earrings I am very deliberate when I choose my travel earrings. I pack varying sizes according to whatever occasion may arise or what outfit I may plan to wear. Aside from packing small studs for those quick outings I also choose more elaborate options. I …

OOTD – Cozy Knits and Leopard Print

Hello everyone! I hope all of you are lovely today. Before we dive into today’s post, I wanted to share exciting news with all of you. I have a final interview coming up on Thursday and I am absolutely overjoyed! I will keep all of you updated on how it all unravels. Keep your fingers crossed! I cannot begin to describe how thrilled I was to feel the cold air shaking up the usual Florida heat. Recently, I went thrift shopping and found this amazing knit scarf that came just in handy with the sudden cold front moving in. I practically want to live in it, it’s so cozy! The scarf was the basis to my outfit and what I used to select particular pieces. I paired the scarf with a leopard print skirt to create a soft palette of warm, fall neutrals. I find myself particularly drawn to leopard print during this time of year. I am not quite sure what it is, but I adore the print during the cooler seasons; don’t you? I paired the two pieces with a …
