Flowerbomb Perfume

Hello everyone! I hope you’re enjoying your day thus far. I apologize for the recent absence, my birthday was over the weekend and I spent it accompanied by loved ones and amazing friends. Thank you to each and every one of you for making this weekend absolutely wonderful and memorable! I recently have been gravitating to my Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb perfume due to it’s delicately sweet floral scent that adds a soft aroma without overpowering the senses. The notes include sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia bloom on a base of patchouli; beautifully blended together to create a  feminine scent that I find lingering throughout the day. I personally love how well this perfume transitions from day to evening use. Though delicate there is something quite sultry about this perfume making it a dynamic and delightfully complex addition to any perfume collection. Final Verdict  Though a splurge at $80 for a 1 oz parfum spray, I feel the longevity, lovely scent, and unique packaging truly make it a worthwhile addition to any collection. …

OOTD – An Afternoon Stroll in Floral

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a lovely day. Before sharing the outfit details I wanted to announce that the polish poll has been closed! The winner has been announced on the Facebook , Twitter, and Instagram pages so head over to see which Masglo polish it was! Thank you to everyone that took a moment to vote. I have recently been inspired by the 50’s silhouette with the floral skirts and sleeveless collared blouses. I paired a floral knee length skirt with a simple white eyelet blouse. The neutral top allows the colorful bottom to truly pop and be the center of attention. The afternoons have been extremely warm so a pair of open cut heels will allow the feet to feel a bit cooler. With the sun being so harsh recently, I threw on a floppy hat to keep my skin safe during my afternoon stroll around the museum gardens. -Outfit- Thrifted Blouse // Xhilaration Floral Skirt // G by Guess Heels Until next time. Julep Color Inspiration Contest – A Pretty Day in Pink

My morning comes around as the sunrise slowly chases the moon away unveiling soft golden hues sprinkled with dashes of warm rose and orange. The flowers outside my window illuminate and burst back into life and color.  The day begins in shades of pink… My day’s preparation begins with adding pink touches to my makeup. There is such a beautiful balance between pairing shades of pink together for a look. The soft hues add a delicate glow to the skin and highlight your features without distorting. Pink has such a powerful ability to be refined yet playful. My favorite way to add pink in my beauty routine is through blushes, lipsticks, and nail polishes! A morning is never quite complete without a warm cup of coffee or tea; the soft aroma cradling the room inviting you to sit and enjoy its presence and taste.  I love a blend between coffee and milk while admiring the spring blossoms outside. Taking a moment out of your day to appreciate on the beauty that surrounds you is truly a wonderful experience. While taking a stroll …

Faintly Floral – Cabotine Rose Perfume Review

Hello lovelies! I hope you all are marvelous today. There is something wonderful about the fresh, delicate aroma of flowers in a garden. Scents diffusing gently in the air and filling your senses with pleasantry along with a feeling of calm and cheerfulness. A perfume has the ability to capture such a sensation in small glass bottle. Today, I will be sharing my favorite perfume that embodies the beauty, softness, and loveliness of a flower. Cabotine Rose is a soft floral scent launched in 2003 as another variation to the original Cabotine perfume. According to Fragantica site, the fragrance has notes consisting of: Top Notes- black currant, mandarin orange, cherry blossom, and pear Middle Notes – peony, mimose, tuberose, orange blossom, lily, pepper, jasmine, and rose Base Notes – sandalwood, musk, vetiver, and frangipani I do detect the delicate floral scents the most whereas the fruit blends are a bit more hidden. I personally love the mingling of the noticeable notes of rose, peony, cherry blossom, and hints of pepper blended with a certain faint sweetness that balances the overall …

Poolside Colors – Revlon Matte Lip Balm Review

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a wonderful day! I’ve recently been testing three shades out of the ten from the Revlon Colorburst Matte Lip Balm line in Unapologetic, Shameless, and Striking. These lipsticks can be purchased for about $8.00 at your local drugstore. Pros:  All the shades are beautifully pigmented and apply quite opaque. Affordability within any budget range as well as accessibility in where to purchase. A true matte texture with absolutely no shine as promised by the claims. The colors are long lasting and incredibly vibrant. I enjoy the packaging and design of the actual product. It’s easy to distinguish the color when looking through your makeup collection. The chubby stick design is brilliant since the finer tip makes for a more accurate application. The colors are perfect for the spring and summer! Cons: Due to it’s matte texture, you must make sure your lips are not dry as it will highlight the dry patches. Shameless is the least forgiving of the three shades I have tried. Since the pigment is …
