Five Makeup Products I’d Bring if I was Stranded on an Island!

Hello everyone! I hope all of you are absolutely wonderful today.

One day I caught myself thinking if I were stunk on a deserted island what on earth would I bring?! I thought it would be fun to share it with all of you!

Comment below with what five things you would bring!

Stranded Island

1. Foundation

A good foundation for me is a must. I love evening out the redness and pigmentation on my cheeks for a flawless yet natural finish. I cannot be without it on a deserted island since it can also double as concealer. My dark circles aren’t too bad…yet!

The foundation shown is Revlon’s Colorstay Whipped Creme. I have been on the hunt for “the” foundation, but my skin hasn’t been cooperating. I’m testing this one out so we’ll see!

2. Blush

Blush is a must for me! I love a soft flush on the cheeks; it can make you look so refreshed and awake. It can lift your bone structure and make your overall complexion perky! How could I not bring this with me?!

The blush featured has become my absolute favorite blush I have used to date: the Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Mood Exposure. The soft blend of plums and pinks swirled with a sophisticated luminosity adds such a beautiful color to the cheeks. The powder is impeccably refined and elegant allowing for it to blend effortlessly. I am also a sucker for packaging and this is right up my alley in terms of design. I cannot say enough about how much I love this product!

3. Mascara

Mascara is honestly like a magic wand! It just lifts and opens the eye with a simple flick! Well, not precisely but it can honestly bring a whole look together. In my opinion no eye look is ever complete without topping it with mascara. When I’m in a rush but I want to add something to my bare eyes, I’ll throw on some mascara and suddenly everything just comes together!

Covergirl Clump Crusher has been a favorite of mine for quite some time. It elongates and separates the lashes wonderfully!

Stranded Island

4. Highlighter

Get your glow on! Luminous skin has become a favorite look of mine. I love the way the light dances off the high points of the face. If I’m going to be stranded on an island, then I would want to look like a glowing goddess!

Becca’s Shimmering Skin Perfector in Moonstone has been my recent obsession. This is an intensely glowing, luminous highlighter that has pretty much stolen my heart. I cannot get over how beautiful it sits on the skin.

Stranded Island

5. Eyeshadows / Brow Product

I love a good eyeshadow palette and my Lorac Pro Palette has been my ride or die for ages now. I love the versatility, rich pigmentation, and varying textures of these shadows. I also use this palette to do my eyebrows (mixing together the black and espresso shade) because who doesn’t want eyebrows on fleek?! Being fabulous on a stranded island is what it’s about.

Overall, those are my five products that I would absolutely bring with me if I were stranded on an island! They are products I cannot get enough of and would trust them absolutely to put together a full look.

Don’t forget to share your five picks!

Until next time. Take care!
