OOTD – Capes

Hello everyone! I hope you are wonderful today. I have recently been obsessed with cape coats. I love the shapeless yet structured element of it’s design that adds an interesting architectural quality to any look. The key to styling cape coats is to used fitted pieces such as a form fitting dress, skirt, or in this case jeans. Since the upper half has more volume and movement, it’s key to balance the lower half with something more fitted. I have been loving this fun twist on a classic look, how do you feel about cape coats? – Outfit details – New York & Company Cape Coat || Call It Spring Heels || Guess Clutch || Revlon Matte Balm in Shameless || Bauble Bar Juniper Jacket Earrings Photographer: Austen Emser Until next time. Flowerbomb Perfume

Hello everyone! I hope you’re enjoying your day thus far. I apologize for the recent absence, my birthday was over the weekend and I spent it accompanied by loved ones and amazing friends. Thank you to each and every one of you for making this weekend absolutely wonderful and memorable! I recently have been gravitating to my Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb perfume due to it’s delicately sweet floral scent that adds a soft aroma without overpowering the senses. The notes include sambac jasmine, centifolia rose, cattleya orchid, and ballerina freesia bloom on a base of patchouli; beautifully blended together to create a  feminine scent that I find lingering throughout the day. I personally love how well this perfume transitions from day to evening use. Though delicate there is something quite sultry about this perfume making it a dynamic and delightfully complex addition to any perfume collection. Final Verdict  Though a splurge at $80 for a 1 oz parfum spray, I feel the longevity, lovely scent, and unique packaging truly make it a worthwhile addition to any collection. …

OOTD – A Walk on the Wild Side

Hello everyone! I hope all of you are well. I had the opportunity of visiting Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park during one of my outings with a good friend of mine. It was a smashing experience being surrounded by wonderful creatures such as alligators, different species of birds, and the elusive bison that we were lucky to spot! The sunny yet cool climate lent itself perfectly to pair my sun hat with the cape trench coat. I love the twist on the classic trench style with the billowing sleeves. It adds a surprising and unique element to the look whilst remaining comfortable to walk and observe the surroundings in.  I wore closed toe, chunky heeled boots for stability and protection while walking along the trails. A Special thank you to my friend Meghan for assisting me on the shoot. xoxo Until next time. Take care! Follow Miss Alice Beauty on: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | Bloglovin’

Julep Angela Review

Hello everyone! It feels wonderful to join all of you on yet another post to kick off the new year. Today I wanted to share a unique polish that I had in my rotation for a few months now after picking it up from my local Marshall’s department store. Julep’s Angela shade is a gorgeous blue/teal based polish drizzled with flecks of green. It’s duo chrome finish lends for a rather dynamic look when it catches the light. It shifts between blue/teal, to green, and even to a purple at just the right angles. It applied beautifully with two thin coats and was a joy to work with as it glided with ease. I applied it over my Sally Hansen Hard as Nails base coat and did not apply a top coat to see the longevity and shine. I will say this polish does a have a fantastic shine and metallic finish. I haven’t had chips thus far in the few days I’e worn which is great considering I have been a busy bee lately! …
