Summer Sunshine Essentials

Hello everyone! I am thrilled to be back with all of you today. Today’s post revolves around summer essentials to beat the heat while looking put together. Lets begin! 1. Makeup and Nail Essentials During the summer heat I do not wear a full face of makeup since it feels like it will just drip off at any moment. My go-to face product is my No. 7 Soft and Sheer Tinted Moisturizer in medium with SPF 15. I have severely dry and sensitive skin so tinted moisturizers are the best route for me. If you have oily/combo skin then I would consider a lightweight powder option to keep shine under control. This particular tinted moisturizer has light coverage so it allows my natural flush to come through meaning I don’t need any blush when using this product which is a definite plus to keep products to a minimum! Glowing skin during the summer is a must. I particularly like to use the Wet n’ Wild Coloricon Bronzer in Reserve Your Cabana. This product is a bit …

OOTD – Mesh

Banana Republic Blouse | Express Mesh Insert Skirt | Call It Spring Heels | Guess Clutch Hello everyone!  I hope you are all lovely today. Today’s outfit revolves around the mesh insert skirt that I recently purchased from Express. I saw higher end brands release skirts in a similar silhouette and was on the search for a more affordable option. I decided to play with the horizontal lines in this outfit to highlight the mesh panel. I paired the skirt  with a horizontal striped blouse to keep all the lines parallel. The heels keep the theme going by having the multiple horizontal straps. The clutch has an angular cut keeping the  harmony with the lines found in the rest of the outfit. I absolutely adore this skirt. I feel there is something so modestly alluring about the mesh panel. It shows the right amount of skin without being overbearing and adds an interesting architectural element to the skirt. Until next time. Take care! NYX Butter Gloss Review

Hello everyone! I hope you are all wonderful. I have missed you all tremendously this past week! I was a busy bee studying for exams, but now I am back till finals week. Remember to hop on over to my Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages for updates and fun tidbits in between posts. Today I will be sharing a review on a product I’ve grown incredibly fond of: the NYX Butter Glosses. The entire range has 22 shades at $5.00 each with .27 fl oz of product. They are described as a sheer to medium coverage gloss without being sticky and can be worn alone or over any lipstick. “It’s delicious and gorgeous at the same time.” – NYX Cosmetics My Thoughts I must admit I have been enjoying this products quite a bit! The pigmentation is truly what makes these glosses stellar. Upon first application, the product dispenses rich color though it may not be absolutely precise to the packaging I think the fact that a gloss has so much color makes it outstanding. They …

OOTD – Working with Simplicity

Hello everyone! I hope you are all wonderful today! Today’s look I kept rather simple and decided to play with a simple color palette of black, white, nude, and touches of gold. The skirt (seen in the last haul) has a form hugging , simple silhouette. The stripes and fit  accentuate an hourglass figure wonderfully and do a lovely job of defining the right curves. I am loving the asymmetrical hemline! It adds a great architectural quality to the skirt making it visually interesting. The black v-neck blouse elongates the neck and draws the eye down the rest of the look which is topped off with nude heels and a simple black purse for essentials. Thanks for reading! Until next time. Take care! Alice…xoxo Miss Alice Beauty on: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | Bloglovin’

Haul – Back to Black

Hello everyone! I hope all of you are enjoying your day so far. Today I wanted to share a few of my recent purchases. Lately I have been enjoying a simple palette of black and white with small touches of color. This pairing is fail-proof and wonderful year round. I have been in love with these buckled leather pumps by Gianvito Rossi, but they were well over my budget. During my shopping trips I came across the Lupicciana heels and was instantly reminded of the Gianvito Rossi pair. The shape of the point as well as the width and height of the heel were identical. The main differences would include the number of straps and the more enclosed rim of the shoes as a whole. Overall, I feel these shoes mimic the Gianvito Rossi pair beautifully for a fraction of the price ($20!) and I’m thrilled to share many looks with all of you using them! I have been obsessed with this style of skirt from Tibi but once again it was beyond my budget so …

Color Collage – A Red, White, & Blue Celebration!

Hello everyone! I hope you all are wonderful today! The Fourth of July is right around the corner so I thought I’d share some fun accessories and knickknacks in today’s color collage. Dress according to your plans! If you are heading to a barbecue with family then throw on some denim shorts and a soft chiffon blouse to beat the heat. If your going for a dinner and fireworks after then maybe take out that little red dress! Which ever way you decide, just make sure you’re wearing those American colors! Can you believe it’s America’s 238th birthday? That’s amazing and yet we are a relatively young county! I want to wish everyone a safe and happy holiday! What are your celebration plans? Until next time. Take care! Alice…xoxo Miss Alice Beauty on: Facebook | Twitter | Instagram | Bloglovin’
