OOTD – Wandering Amongst the Flowers

Hello everyone! I hope you all are doing wonderfully today. I have a couple short announcements to share: I am ecstatic to announce that the Miss Alice Beauty Facebook page now has over a 100 likes! If you haven’t checked it out already, head over and take a peek. It’s filled with teasers and fun daily updates.  I also wanted to remind everyone to please participate in Thursday’s polish poll! Vote here: Now on to the outfit! The look is centered around my orange bag. I kept the outfit neutral to allow the orange color to pop.  It was a chilly spring afternoon so I threw on a sleeveless cardigan to provide a light amount of warmth and texture. I applied a bright red lip using my NYX Matte Lipsticks to add a fun touch to a casual look.  I also wanted to note that orange is the color for the spring and summer this year along with radiant orchid! -Outfit- Tan Cardigan – Gap [Thrifted] White Blouse – Banana Republic [Thrifted] Nude Heels – Nine West …

Color Collage – A Pinchless St. Patrick’s Day

Hello everyone! I hope you all are well and ready for the weekend! Today I am introducing my Color Collage series that I will be posting every so often featuring a particular color or set of colors. My intention is to provide all of you with some inspiration when going through your wardrobe and picking out the colors for the day! As many of you know, St. Patrick’s Day is right around the corner! The celebration calls for wearing the colors of the Irish flag: green, white, and orange. The primary color that is worn is green usually with accents of the other two. Terrible things will occur if you don’t wear green! Well, not really but you may get a pinch or two from a friend who happens to be wearing it. The color collage pieces together different articles of clothing and beauty products to give you a series of ideas if you’re stumped for how to incorporate green into your look. Something as simple as a piece of jewelry to a pair of …

OOTD- Spring Colors Blossom by the Shore

Hello everyone! I hope you all are wonderful today. Spring and warmth is in the air! It is time to break out some fun bold colors and enjoy the wonderful golden sunshine. Today’s outfit revolves around color blocking.  The key to achieving color blocking is to find colors that compliment each other. In my case, the coral blouse and lime green shorts cohesively flow with one another because they are opposites on the color wheel. Since the outfit is color intense I kept the shoes neutral to balance the overall look and I always have a hat with me to block the sun rays. My makeup look focused on the gorgeous green color on the lower lash line using NYX’s  Primal Colors. Would you guys like a makeup tutorial? OOTD – Welcoming Spring’s Warmth

Hello everyone! I hope you all are well! Today’s outfit revolves around using white as a blank canvas for colorful, spring accessories. I paired a simple white blouse and shorts for a monochromatic look. To add a bit of zest to the outfit, I paired my deep plum belt to break up the simplicity of color. The scarf adds the perfect touch of spring with it’s bright floral print and instantly adds some character to what would have been a very simple ensemble. I threw on my beloved floppy hat to protect my skin from the harsh sun rays. Fun picture of the day: Here’s one of the little bird buddies that joined me during the shoot! -Outfit- White Blouse – Express [Similar] Open Cut Heels – G by Guess [Similar] Plum Leather Belt – Thrifted Floral Scarf – Anika Dali Brown Leather Bag – Thrifted Until next time. My Travel Bag – Sunny South Florida

Hello everyone! I hope you day is lovely thus far. I am home for spring break and thought it would be appropriate to share some of my sunny South Florida essentials. My choices revolve around fresh, bright colors and light fabrics to stay cool in the heat. 1. Floppy Hat The sun has been exceptionally strong lately as the skies have been clear with little to no clouds so a large floppy hat is essential. It creates a great statement to any outfit as well as provide much needed protection from those rays. I purchased mine from Ross Dress For Less for about $8. 2. Light Scarf I personally cannot be without a scarf year round. They are such easy pieces to add a bit of life to any look with minimal effort. I’m fond of scarves with a colorful floral print during the spring and summer seasons. The materials are extremely lightweight making it tolerable. My floral scarf is from Amazon’s Anika Dali Collection. 3. Soft Skirt A soft floral skirt just screams spring, summer, …
