Romantic Shades for my February Haul

Hello everyone! I hope you all are well. I decided to do something a bit different for this post and put together a beauty product haul for this month so far! I just want to note that this is not a full review of each product. I will be reviewing each in depth in the near future and will also be introducing makeup tutorials to my blog where I will feature these products. Everything, with exception of the Maybelline Gel Liner bought in Walmart, was purchased in Ulta. My quick thoughts on the products: Stila “The Natural” Palette I love the soft colors in this palette. I am a sucker for pink based tones in my eyeshadows and this fit the bill perfectly. It is comprised of three matte shades and three shimmer making it perfect to create a day or night look rather easily. Due to that and it’s small size, it definitely seems travel friendly. My only negative is that the bronzer is a tad too light for my skin tone, but I …

OOTD – Rosy Red Kisses on Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I hope you have a lovely day with your loved one or friends. Regardless of what you do, I hope you have fun! Today’s outfit revolves around romantic shades of red and flirty fabrics. The focal point of this outfit is the red lipped scarf which embodies Valentine’s in my opinion. The Kate Spade Cha Cha Chocolate Clutch also adds yet another Valentine’s touch representing yummy chocolate! The red sweater and boots add a lovely rosy feel to the outfit while adding cohesion to the top and bottom. I added a pair of tights and boot socks for added warmth, but it would look great without them if it’s warmer in your area. The playful skirt adds a feminine feel to the overall look. Have a wonderful Valentine’s Day! -Outfit- Gap Red Sweater The Limited Kiss Scarf Kate Spade Cha Cha Chocolate Clutch Until next time. Take care! Polish Poll Winner – Orly’s Wild Wisteria

Hello everyone! Happy Monday! I hope you all are well. I want to thank everyone that voted in the last nail polish poll! I want to encourage everyone to check out and participate in the next poll. I love knowing what you all want me to do next.  I also want to share that I’m now on Bloglovin‘! On to the review of Orly’s Wild Wisteria! Wild Wisteria is a pure purple creme polish that is highly opaque with one coat. My favorite quality of the polish aside from the the ease of application is the rich pigment of the color. I wanted a true purple with no other colors or glitter shot through and this certainly provides that. My only complaints were that in low lighting it does appear a tad too close to black and that it did easily chip on the ends since I didn’t seal it with my Seche Vite top coat. I think with a top coat the chipping would be greatly reduced. Overall, I highly recommend this polish! It’s …

OOTD – Picking Flowers During an Afternoon Stroll

Hello everyone! I have a few updates to share: I’ve decided that I’ll be posting three days a week if time permits as I have a very busy spring semester ahead. I also wanted to share the winner of the nail polish poll: Orly’s Wild Wisteria! It is being featured in today’s outfit of the day post and I will have a separate review post detailing my thoughts on it’s overall performance. I also wanted to remind all of you to check out my social media sites linked below. I post tons of extra goodies, sneak peeks, and updates on there! I was also requested to do a tutorial on my curly twist updo post. Would you all prefer a video or image post?  On to today’s outfit post! Today’s look revolves around floral prints which, in my opinion, are universally great year round.  The focal point of the overall outfit is the tea length skirt covered in flowers. I did not want the rest of the outfit to take away from the print so …
