I’m thrilled to be back! The start of the new semester has been quite the whirlwind, but I’ll be picking my posting schedule back up again. I have tons of ideas, outfits, and reviews to share!
Today I wanted to change things up and share my thoughts on a book I recently finished reading, “How to be Lovely” by Melissa Hellstern. This book was truly eye opening and a wonderful experience to read! The novel is broken up into ten chapters consisting of distinct topics that define Audrey’s outlook on life and style. I would consider the book a light read that can be picked up at any point as there is no linear plot or sequential order.
We are taken page by page through the words of Audrey as well as those who knew her along with snippets from the author to aid in the further explanation of Audrey’s life, triumph, struggles, and elegance. I wouldn’t consider this book so much an autobiography, but more as a book teaching how to live graciously and genuinely as Audrey did. The images throughout the book are quite lovely, providing a peek into Audrey’s lifestyle and emotions.
Overall, I recommend this book to anyone looking for a light read and seeking wisdom from an inspiring female figure. I won’t expand further on the content as to not spoil it if you choose to pick up the book. It is fun, revealing, and a novel that can be read and enjoyed after countless readings.
The book can be purchased here.

Until next time. Take care!
