Hello everyone! I hope you are having a lovely day!
How was your Thanksgiving holiday? I had a wonderful time with family enjoying delicious food and company!
Today I will be sharing one of my favorite nude nail polishes, OPI’s My Very First Knockwurst. The polish was released in the Fall 2012 OPI Germany Collection along with 11 other shades. It can still be purchased on Amazon!
This polish is a unique nude shade as it’s neither a true pink nor a lavender or beige. Rather it is a blend of all of those colors that creates a different visual effect under various lighting as noted in the pictures above. In comparing the polish under natural light vs. camera flash, you can clearly see that certain colors are highlighted in the blend more than others. This polish also glides on smoothly and opaque with one coat, but two is preferable to achieve a more perfected look. It is long lasting and quite resilient to chipping. I also absolutely love this polish for toes, as I prefer a natural and clean look to them as well. If you are in a professional setting this lacquer would be a wonderful subtle pop of color that adds a polished look to your nails.
Overall, I highly recommend this polish to anyone in the market for an opaque, richly pigmented, nude polish. It would be a great addition to any collection.
I’d also like to share a couple updates! First, I have been loving my almond shaped nails that I’ve had for about a month. I believe it truly elongates my hands, especially with the nude nail polish, and adds a greater sense of femininity. I am also thrilled to share that, though I rarely do, I decided to take the plunge and splurge a bit on a clutch I came across! After careful budgeting and much deliberation I got the Kate Spade Cha Cha Chocolate clutch. I am anxiously awaiting it’s arrival to share with all of you! This is my first Kate Spade purchase experience so I will be noting my thoughts for you all. Here’s a photograph of it:
Until next time. Take care!
